The River House St. Augustine Florida Wedding | Samantha & Keegan

Samantha and Keegan were married at the beautiful River House in St. Augustine, FL. They were planning an outside ceremony but the forecast called for storms during the afternoon. Everyone was hoping and praying that the rain would hold off until at least after the ceremony was over.  But just as guests started to arrive, the sky turned black, the wind picked up and the rain started.  This scenario, understandably, would be stressful for many brides. Sam was so calm and easy going, as she’s been since I first met her, and said we’d just move everything inside if need be. But not even 5 minutes later, as per usual for Florida, the rain passed. We all could breathe again, and the day went on seamlessly!

One of my favorite parts of Samantha and Keegan’s wedding was actually during the ceremony. They had family friends sing during the ceremony and it was so beautiful! After the rain free ceremony it was portrait time! And let me tell you, these two were troopers for me. The wind right off the water was CRAZY. I tried to work as quickly as possible so we could all get inside and let the party begin.

The father/daughter dance was another one of my  favorite parts of the day. During the dance Sam and her dad broke out into a choreographed dance and it was hilarious! I’ve been waiting for one of my brides to do this.

This was such a beautiful day for a sweet couple and I loved being a part of their wedding day. Congratulations again Samantha and Keegan!!
