Hannah and Peter were married at The Basilica of The Immaculate Conception in downtown Jacksonville, Florida followed by a reception at The Marywood Center on the St. John’s river. This church is an iconic part of downtown Jacksonville and is absolutely stunning with all of its stunning stained glass windows. Not only is this church beautiful but it holds a sentimental place with Hannah and Peter because both of their parents were also married here! I thought this was so special and such a wonderful way for them to start their lives together.
After the ceremony we stopped at The Bolles School along the river which is where Hannah wanted to do bridal party pictures as well as her and Peter’s portraits. Hannah attended school here so this was another meaningful place for her! We definitely got the traditional bridal party poses but also plenty of great candids of everyone having fun together. I’m so glad we did this because it was such a pretty location for pictures and there was plenty of room for their large bridal party!
Next we headed to the reception where friends and family danced and celebrated all night! One of my favorite parts of the reception was after the father/daughter dance when Hannah took turns dancing with each of her five brothers; it was so sweet. The weather was perfect and guests were able to enjoy the venue outside as well with amazing views along the river. I’m so glad Hannah wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous sunset for portraits on the dock because they are beautiful! This was such a fun day and I’m so glad I was able to a part of it!
I’ve loved getting to know Hannah and Peter over the course of their engagement. They are so sweet and genuine and it’s so easy to feel their love and how happy they are together!
