Katie and Steven had the most beautiful wedding at the River House in St. Augustine, Florida this past weekend. It may have been a chilly, windy, November day, but nonetheless heartwarming and full of joy! Katie looked absolutely beautiful in her illusion neckline lace dress and I loved the blush satin underlay along with the soft bow detail on the back. She wore a long veil that was a family heirloom; Katie’s mom told me it had been worn by 15 other family members! Katie also had a broach that belonged to her grandmother along with a small piece of lace from her grandmother’s wedding gown. She included these special family pieces by wrapping her bouquet with them. Taking detail pictures of these sentimental items are always some of my favorites.
Also, can we just talk about these bridesmaid dresses!! Katie chose a deep green color and each bridesmaid wore a different style! They were so stunning and Shea Hopely knocked it out of the park with bouquets and floral design that coordinated perfectly. Steven and his groomsmen wore gray suits with green ties which tied everything together so well.
Some of my favorite photos from the whole day are Katie and Steven coming up the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife. Their reactions were priceless and filled with so much happiness! Then, after a wonderful evening filled with dinner, toasts, hours of dancing and a delicious dessert table by Creme de la Cocoa, Steven and Katie shared a last dance and said goodbye to family and friends as they left in an amazing vintage Jaguar car.
Katie and Steven are the absolute sweetest couple and I enjoyed being part of their day! They’re headed off to (sunny and warm,) Antigua for their honeymoon! I hope you have an amazing trip, Mr. & Mrs. Mueller!
