Jade and Austin were married on his family Farm in Adel, Georgia on a beautiful Saturday in December. When we first talked, Jade told me she envisioned a Christmas inspired winter wedding, and her vision undoubtedly came to life! Their ceremony took place at one of her favorite spots on the property under one of the the most magnificent oak trees I have ever seen! It’s such a peaceful and tranquil place and so special that they will be able to spend time here whenever they want and reminisce about their wedding. The mantle draped in evergreens and decorated with lanterns and candles was the perfect touch to the ceremony site and one of my favorite details of the day!
Jade loves art and I was so excited when she told me she was going to have an artist at the wedding who would do a live painting! Paige Brown started at the ceremony site and then moved inside the barn at the reception to continue working on the painting. This was SO amazing to watch over the course of the evening as she worked. It’s an experience for the guests and makes an amazing keepsake!
After the ceremony guests drove to the reception area where there was a tent and barn that that had been transformed! Tables were lined with holiday greenery and looked so pretty with the brass candlesticks and touches of berries throughout. Everywhere you looked there were beautifully lit Christmas tress which created such a festive atmosphere! Guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner from a local vendor and for dessert they had a gorgeously decorated red velvet cake and a milk and cookie bar! Another one of my favorite parts of the day! For their “guestbook,” they had a table where guests could sign an ornament and hang them on a tree; I loved this and thought it was such a great idea. As the evening ended, everyone gathered outside the barn where they tossed snow as Austin and Jade ran through. It’s been such a joy getting to know this sweet couple this year and I’m thankful to have been able to capture their day!
