Elizabeth and Drew were married in Savannah, Georgia in Chatham Square on an absolutely beautiful spring day! The weather was just perfect, flowers were blooming, and love was in the air! Elizabeth and Drew live in a small town outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, but love Savannah and spent a lot of time there while they were dating, so it seemed like the perfect place for them to get married. They wanted a very private and intimate elopement so it was just their parents and Drew’s grandmother and brother there with them. The day started at the Plantar’s Inn where Elizabeth had her hair and makeup done. It was so nice because there was no pressure or time crunch and everyone was relaxed and enjoying the day. I always really love this part of a wedding day and special moments with a bride and her mom as she gets into her wedding dress. During this time I was also able to capture some really sweet moments with Drew and his mom and grandmother while he finished getting ready. Theses are some of my favorite pictures! After photographing their details and getting ready pictures we went across the street to Reynolds Square where they shared a first look. Next, we headed a few blocks over to Chatham Square where they privately read their vows to each other and then Elizabeth’s dad officiated the ceremony! it was such a special moment! The celebration continued with dinner and wedding cake at The Olde Pink House. It was a perfect celebration for this sweet couple!
Elizabeth and I have so much and common and she immediately felt like an old friend from our very first email. It was such a special day and I’m so happy for them and honored to be a part of the day and give them memories to last a lifetime.
