Hannah and Mylin were married in Amelia Island, Florida at the stunning Oyster Bay Yacht Club. Hannah and Mylin live in Chicago, but Mylin’s family has a home in Amelia Island so they spent a lot of time together there while they were dating. It’s a special place they love, so they decided it would be the perfect choice for their wedding! They actually came down from Chicago and we did their engagement pictures in the area at Fort Clinch and the beach last year!
Hannah was such a beautiful bride and looked amazing in her Lazaro wedding gown! I loved the texture on her dress and the lace underlay was so pretty! Mylin wore a classic navy tuxedo trimmed with a black lapel and stripe on the pants. This combination looked SO good together and paired really well with his anemone boutonnière!
Hannah and Mylin shared a first look together and later were married outside under the moss draped oaks. It was such a pretty backdrop for the ceremony. After cocktail hour and introductions it was time for dances and these were some of my favorite moments. Hannah and Mylin were so cute – they had really practiced their choreographed dance and they killed it! Mylin and his mom broke out into a mix of dance moves together which was so fun too!
One thing that was important to Hannah were sunset pictures on the dock. So after dinner we took time to walk out on the dock and I’m so glad we did! These are some of my favorite portraits! When we finished, Hannah changed into her reception dress and shoes and the band got the party started! This group really had fun and danced the night away! One of my favorite parts of the evening was when Hannah and Mylin took the microphone and sang karaoke – it was so great!
They shared a private last dance together and then the evening ended with a sparkler exit and a vintage Chevrolet Bel Air! This day was just perfect from start to finish for an amazing couple! I’m truly blessed to have been a part of Hannah and Mylin’s wedding. Although I’m going to miss talking all things wedding planning with Hannah (the best!💕), I wish them nothing but love and happiness as they begin the adventure of marriage together!
