Sarah and Andrew were married at The Cedar Room in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. When I first met Sarah and Andrew last September at their engagement session, they immediately felt like friends and I have been looking forward to their wedding day ever since!

We started the day at The Restoration hotel where the girls were getting ready and having hair and makeup done. After a dress reveal with her bridesmaids, we left to meet Andrew at the iconic pink Charleston wall (the Mills House Hotel) for their first look. Their first look was one of my favorite parts of the day. Sarah was so excited and Andrew’s expression was priceless. She looked absolutely breathtaking in her fitted long sleeve gown and veil, and I loved his Brackish bow tie and pocket square! Sarah had said from the first time we talked that she wanted to do portraits and bridal party pictures in this location and I’m so glad she did because it was a perfect spot. I loved how the groomsmen’s navy suits and the bridesmaid’s mixed neutral and blush undertone dresses and bouquets looked against the pink wall!

Next, we headed to The Cedar Room for the ceremony and reception. The candlelit ceremony space was just breathtaking. No details were left out from the gold chivari chairs, to greenery on the chandeliers and not to mention the amazing florals on the arch. It was just perfection and such a pretty setting for Sarah and Andrew to say their vows to each other in front of family and friends. There were live musicians playing as guests arrived and they added such a nice touch to the ceremony and cocktail hour. After they shared a first dance Sarah changed into her fun, glittery reception dress, and the rest of the evening was filled with good food, drinks, toasts and dancing. It was such a wonderful day from start to finish and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of it!
